Even if our words and methods differ, I have learnt to appreciate the grace of God in its manifold dimensions. No one knows than all of us. The best of us at best is weak. Only God is perfect.

As we pursue sexual purity, let’s our eyes be on Jesus and the Holy Spirit. The goal is not holiness, purity or righteousness. The finishing line of Jesus is our starting line. We are his righteousness. Salvation is the gift of God. We are complete in him. There’s no condemnation. The war is over. God is not mad at us.

We don’t pursue purity because we’re sinners. We pursue purity because we are His righteousness. We don’t perfect holiness in the fear of God because we’re unholy, we do it because he chose us to be holy before the foundations of the world. He finished before we began, thus our victory is in our union with him. He is our holiness, sanctification, wisdom and righteousness.

We are one spirit with him. We have his mind. We are his body. We no longer live, he’s alive in us. He lives in us through his spirit. Our life is hidden in him. He’s in us both to will and to do his good pleasure. He’s able to keep us from falling and present to the father blameless and with exceedingly great joy. Sin has no dominion over me because I am not under the law but grace.

People struggle for lack of knowledge and the fact that we have an enemy who reinforces our ignorance with wrong beliefs, strongholds, experiences, mentalities and opinions.
